Cheerleaders Form "M"
| Twenty five
vigorous girls make up the spirited cheerleaders of Marine Park. With
color and excitement these sparkling girls give inspiration to our
wonderful teams. Their uniforms consist of a red skirt, white sweater
which contains an emblem of the school cheerleaders and saddle shoes
adorned with pom-poms. Fluffy shakers complement their outfits of red
and white. Cheerleaders are selected on the basis of how well they can jump, cheer, and create a good school spirit. Cheerleading requires much practice and hard work The girls are supervised by Mrs. Elaine Hershman with Denise Newirth as captain and Cheryl Levine as co- captain. With such great incentive, how can the boys be anything but victorious. |
